Who we are
Jaidn is an AI-powered introduction service operated by Medora LLC. We connect Jewish professionals, students, and community members through warm, double opt-in introductions via WhatsApp. Our service is available at jaidn.com and through WhatsApp at +972 58 474 3939.
What we collect
When you use Jaidn, we collect:
- Phone number — your WhatsApp number, collected when you first message Jaidn. This is your primary identifier.
- Conversation history — messages exchanged with Jaidn on WhatsApp, used to build your contact card and surface relevant introductions.
- Email address — provided voluntarily during onboarding, used to send introduction emails when a match is confirmed.
- Name and city — provided during conversation, used to personalise introductions.
- Profile information — what you share about your work, goals, and interests, used solely to improve match quality.
- Introduction history — records of matches proposed and accepted, used to avoid duplicate introductions and improve future matching.
We do not collect financial information, government IDs, or any data beyond what you share in conversation.
How we use your data
We use your information to:
- Understand who you are and what you need so we can make better introductions
- Surface relevant matches from within the Jaidn network
- Send introduction emails to both parties when a match is confirmed
- Prevent duplicate or unwanted introductions
- Improve the quality of future matches over time
We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone outside the introduction flow.
Double opt-in
Before any introduction is made, both parties explicitly say yes on WhatsApp. No introduction — and no sharing of your contact details — happens without your active consent. You can decline any match at any time.
Data sharing
Your information is shared only in these circumstances:
- With your match — when both parties opt in, your name and email are shared in the introduction email. Nothing else is shared without your explicit consent.
- With service providers — we use Anthropic (AI), Resend (email delivery), Neon (database), and Vercel (hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements and do not use your data for their own purposes.
- With Meta / WhatsApp — messages sent via WhatsApp are subject to Meta's Privacy Policy in addition to ours.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by messaging Jaidn on WhatsApp with the word "DELETE" or by emailing jacob@jaidn.com. We will delete your profile, conversation history, and all associated records within 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of WhatsApp communications at any time by replying STOP
- Opt out of introduction emails via the unsubscribe link in any email we send

Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your phone number is never sent to third parties in plain form — where sharing is required, we use a one-way cryptographic hash. We do not store payment information.
Children
Jaidn is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will notify active users of material changes via WhatsApp before they take effect.
